Bank Holding Company Act of 1956
Закон о банковской холдинговой компании 1956 г.
Этот Закон применим к любой корпорации, которая контролирует 25% и более голосующих акций, по крайней мере, двух банков, либо каким-либо иным образом контролирует избрание большинства директоров двух и более банков. В Законе устанавливаются правила формирования банковских холдинговых компаний. Подобные компании строго ограничены в отношении ведения банковской деятельности, управления банками и оказания услуг филиальным банкам.
